Hello from Pearl

Hi, I’m Pearl! I was so sick 6 weeks ago, my human friends didn’t think I ‘d live.  Ha, ha here I am getting better from BIG kidney problems, day by day.  Glad to have Heather and Darryll home from their trip so they can feed me, play with me and continue to give me subq  fluids. I was well cared for while they were on tour this past week by Negar, she was soooo good to me, I am a lucky cat. –   * Dear Pearl, I think  we are the lucky ones – Heather

Luther and the suitcase

He likes to lie on, or in suitcases. Other cat people will relate, I’m sure. This was his perch the day we left for our week long tour of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Performance in Estevan, April 25th

We had 120 folks show up and be a superb audience for the show, and our competition?  …the first warm sunny day in a dog’s age. Thanks Brenda Lyons and her helpers in Estevan for being great hosts and sponsors, putting up posters, setting up and taking down chairs, helping with our gear, providing healthy snacks, etc., etc., etc.

Here are the photos taken by Heather’s Mum, Jockie. She photographed while we set up at Westwood Elementary. Scroll to the bottom to see the cool action of the kids entertaining themselves on the mats waiting for the show to begin. What an honour to have you on the road with us for 24 hours Mum.

Traveling light in SK

People ask us often, “How do you fly your shows?” Well it packs down pretty small when we do not bring our sound system or carry risers (just in case we need them.)

So here we are with our hockey bag full of marionettes, curtains and props, three wooden cases with lights and hanging racks and several carry on cases with all the rest.

Setting up in Langenburg at the Community Theatre,
